Intriguing Ayah: Fussilat 41:46

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

At the end of the year I always start looking back and think about what I did in the past year. Sometimes I even get worried whether I did good or not. What always helps me calm down and remember what is important is reading the Quran, and like that I run across the following ayah.

41:46 Whoever does righteousness - it is for his soul; and whoever does evil (does so) against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to His servants.

You should not forget that Allah (swt) sees all the good deeds you do in your life and they will not go to waste, even if you might not see the result of it instantly. At the same time Allah (swt) also knows about all the bad deeds you do even if you think you can hide it (because you can not hide anything from Allah (swt) and you should know that) in the end you will get punished for it. Allah (swt) will do so in a just way which will be equal for all of mankind.

May peace, mercy and blessings from Allah be upon you
