Sahih Muslim - Faith & Adornment

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

As a Muslim it is important to have knowledge about Islam, about the Quran and about Hadith. A while ago I was reading parts of Sahih Muslim and was reminded of some things that either I didn't know about at all or I forgot about in the previous year. So I was thinking that if I forgot about it, then someone else might also have forgotten about some of these, and you might need a bit of a reminder of some of the things mentioned in the Hadith.

There should be a bedding for a man, a bedding for his wife and the third one for the guest, and the fourth one if for the Shaytan. ~ Sahih Muslim 2084

Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (pbuh) said that there was a person who used to walk with pride because of his thick hair and fine mantles. He was made to sink in the earth and he would go on sinking in the earth until the Last Hour would come. ~ Sahih Muslim 2088a

'Abbas b. 'Abdul-Muttalib said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) saying: He has found the taste of iman who is content with Allah as his Lord, with Islam as his religion and with Muhammad (pbuh) as his Prophet. ~ Sahih Muslim 34

Abdullah b. Umar narrates from the Prophet of Allah (pbuh): He who took up arms against us is not of us. ~ Sahih Muslim 98

Abu Huraira narrates that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) observed: Verily the Great and Mighty Allah forgave my people the evil promptings arising in their minds, but they neither talked about them nor acted upon them. ~ Sahih Muslim 127b

I know it may not be much since there are thousands of hadith and here I am only sharing five of them, but every little bit will help in improving your knowledge about Islam and make it easier to follow Islam.

May peace, mercy and blessings from Allah be upon you
